AME entered an official partnership with Publons to enhance wide-ranging recognition for reviewers

AME Publishing Company entered an official partnership with Publons, a product of Clarivate Analytic Company (which owns Web of Science, EndNote, ScholarOne, among many others), as of April 2020. Around 60 AME journals’ peer review systems are now integrated seamlessly into the Publons platform (https://publons.com/about/home). The partnership was done to recognize our expert peer reviewers spontaneously for their review contribution.

Implementation of transparent peer review at Translational Pediatrics

With a commitment to openness and accountability, and to increase the level of transparency throughout our peer review process, our editorial office has decided to implement a transparent peer review process as an option for all manuscripts submitted to TP from March 19, 2020.

TP 2019 Annual Report

We are glad to present the 2019 Annual Report of TP here. 2019 has seen much progress for the journal:
-TP is officially indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) at Sep. 2019.
-Monthly Retrieval of TP in PubMed reached the peak of 46, 595 times in Oct. 2019.
-Number of total citations by SCI journals has significantly increased to 1,121 until Dec. 2019.

Application of the CARE Guideline as reporting standard in Translational Pediatrics

Translational Pediatrics welcomes case reports which are supposed to report new observations of diseases, clinical findings or novel/unique treatment outcomes relevant to practitioners in the fields of medicine.

For completeness and transparency for published case reports, Translational Pediatrics will apply the CARE guidelines (1) as reporting standards for case reports starting from October 14, 2019.

Translational Pediatrics, the 13th AME Journal indexed in SCIE

On Sept. 19, 2019, we received the good news from Clarivate Analytics (former Thomson Reuters Intellectual Property and Science Business) that Translational Pediatrics (TP) has been indexed in Science Citation Index Expanded (SCIE) and all the articles published since 2017 will be included. The first impact factor of TP will be released in the second quarter of 2020.
