Associate Professor Bing Yu has been worked in the field of molecular genetics and medical genomics for 17 years. His research interest focuses on identifying genes involved in gene-environment interaction in complex disease using an in silico approach and the state-of-the-art DNA technologies. Meanwhile he is committed to research translation into health care and provides the DNA diagnostic service. Bing Yu is a medical graduate of Shanghai Medical University and was awarded the PhD degree at the University of Sydney in 1999. He is the Founding Fellow of the Faculty of Science, Royal College of Pathologists of Australasia and the Fellow of Human Genetics Society of Australasia. In 2012, he was admitted as a Research Translation Faculty Member of the National Health and Medical Research Council, Australia.
